The majestic auditorium of Convent of Jesus and Mary, Chelsea, came alive with music, colours and emotions as the school celebrated its Annual Day with grandeur, grace and gratitude. From the entrance, the air was filled with joy as the live singing choir and a Hindi prayer dance welcomed the gathering with devotion and artistry. A prayer dance and a heartfelt invocation followed, creating an atmosphere of reverence and unity.
In her annual report presentation, Principal Sr Greta brought to life the school’s journey over the past year—its academic triumphs, cultural vibrancy, sports victories and community service initiatives. Principal Sr Greta expressed her pride and gratitude: “Our children are our greatest testimony to what faith and guidance can achieve. Tonight, they have shown us not only their talent but their depth of thought and character.”
The chief guest, His Lordship Bishop Rev Msgr Sahaya Thathues Thomas, Bishop of Chandigarh, Shimla Diocese, lauded the students’ performances and values, saying, “Chelsea is not just imparting education; it is shaping hearts. The harmony of faith, creativity and compassion here is truly remarkable.”
The evening also honoured academic excellence and co-curricular achievements through the distribution of scholarships and prizes. The event concluded with a warm felicitation and a heartfelt vote of thanks by Head Girl Arshita Sawant, leaving the audience with a deep sense of pride and belonging.
