Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today reached Bahri, the native village of Chander Shekhar, an MLA of the Dharampur Assembly constituency in Mandi district, to express condolences on the demise of his father Kahan Singh, who passed away at his native place after a prolonged illness.

The Chief Minister consoled MLA Chander Shekhar, his mother Jayawanti Devi and the bereaved family. He prayed to God to give strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss and for the peace of the departed soul.

MLA and former Chief Parliamentary Secretary PS Sanjay Awasthi, MLA Suresh Kumar, APMC Chairman Sanjeev Guleria, former Sarkaghat Congress candidate Pawan Thakur, State Cooperative Societies Board of Directors Member Lal Singh Kaushal, former Joginder Nagar Congress candidate Jeevan Thakur, HPMC Board of Directors Members Joginder Guleria, Shashi Sharma, non-official member of the governing body of state health and family welfare society Dr Chander Shekhar Sharma and Mandi MC councillor Darshan Thakur were present on the occasion.
