Shimla witnessed a vibrant start to the children's literature festival, a joint initiative by the Language and Culture Department and Keekli Charitable Trust, which began on Friday with great energy and enthusiasm.

The three-day literary celebration has brought together over 300 students from more than 15 schools, including Swaran Public School, IVY Internationals, SPIPS, Monal Public School, Sacred Heart, LCTH, AHS, AHBS, Sambhota Tibetan School, GSSS Sarog and GSSS Boilaeuganj, among others.

The inaugural day offered a delightful mix of activities that celebrated young voices and creative minds. The festival was officially inaugurated by acclaimed artist Priya Kuriyan, who attended as the chief guest and inspired the young audience with her presence and words.

Following the inauguration, the stage was set ablaze by enthusiastic students participating in oratory competitions, impressing everyone with their poise and confidence. The day also featured book sessions and poetry readings, allowing young readers and writers to dive into the world of literature.
