The Dhauladhar ranges and upper areas of Chhota and Bara Bhangal valleys were enveloped in a blanket of snow today. The lower reaches witnessed moderate to heavy rain. Power supply and telecommunication services remained disrupted at several places in the valley. Vehicular movement to Chhota Bhangal has been suspended. Thamsar Pass, which is 18,000-ft above the sea level and is the gateway to Bara Bhangal, recorded 30 cm of snow till this evening.

Tourist destinations such as Bir-Billing, Chhota Bhangal and Multhan are witnessing a huge rush of tourists. — OC
