The Sangrah administration has appealed to the devotees not to visit Churdhar Temple, a famous religious and tourist place in Sirmaur district, in view of the extreme winter and snowfall.

The doors of historical Churdhar temple have been officially closed in view of the risk the route poses to the devotees.

SDM Sangrah Sunil Kayath said that due to snow and cold, all the walking routes leading to this temple are risky and dangerous. Keeping these factors in mind the Churdhar temple has been kept closed since December.
