Parents flay deferring of exams

The Student-Parent Forum has condemned the Tara Hall School’s decision to postpone the final examinations scheduled from November 20 and has asked the government to intervene in the matter. Calling the school’s decision ‘despotic’, forum convener Vijender Mehra said the school was doing all this to justify the collection of full charges from the parents. The Forum further called the school’s decision to hold the exams in February in the school “irrational and dangerous”. “Everyone knows February is very cold and hence the danger of the spread of the virus will be more. By conducting exams in schools, the school management will be endangering the lives of students as well as the teachers,” said Mehra.
