Shoolini University foundation day

Shoolini University marked its foundation day on Monday with several programmes and activities. Vice-Chancellor Prof PK Khosla expressed happiness at the progress made by the university. The event was attended by Pro-Chancellor Satish Anand, Shoolini Foundation for Life Sciences and Business Management president Saroj Khosla and trustees Ashok Anand and Nishtha Shukla Anand. President and CEO Vishal Anand thanked them for their contribution.

Capacity-Building event at HPNLU

The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) is organising an online 12-day capacity-building programme on legal research methodology, research and publication ethics. In the inaugural session, HPNLU VC Nishtha Jaswal made the special address while Prof S Surya Prakash, Vice-Chancellor, Damodaran Sanjivaya National Law University, Vishakhapatnam, was the chief guest. The session on ‘Legal Philosophy: Philosophical Foundations of Socio-Legal Research’ was addressed by Chanchal Kumar Singh, assistant professor of Law, HPNLU.

Fencing of school at Beolia

Principal of the Government School in Beolia Nisha Baluni on Monday acknowledged the contribution of Ashish Kohli, the state project director, Samagra Shiksha, in helping the school fence its boundary. Kohli had sanctioned a grant for the project. Baluni said the fencing would prevent trespassing on the school premises.
