CJ Sandhawalia visits HPNLU campus
Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia, Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court and Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), today visited the university campus and reviewed the progress of the ongoing construction of the new girls’ hostel and assessed the overall infrastructural development of the university.
Justice Sandhawalia inspected the construction site of the girls’ hostel and emphasised the need for its timely completion to meet the growing residential requirements of the students so that the facilities are made operational at the earliest for the benefit of the students
Justice Sandhawalia paid special attention to concerns regarding the inadequacy of space for the university library and faculty offices, acknowledging their critical role in enhancing academic and research pursuits.
He advised the university to address these issues on a priority basis, ensuring that adequate space is allocated to support the academic needs of both students and faculty members.
