The event was held across over 600 locations in India, including Kamla Nehru Hospital in Shimla, where a cleanliness drive and plantation programme took place.

As per the spokesperson of the trust, the “Oneness One” project emphasises the importance of co-existence with nature and human responsibility towards the environment. “The campaign aims to provide a green environment for future generations and promote sustainability,” he said.

He further said that the project has resulted in the creation of mini-forests, which have become a haven for migratory birds.

He further said the campaign conveys a clear message that planting trees is not just a task but a “sanskar” (ritual), and doing seva is not just a duty but a “sadhana”.
