Shimla: Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday visited Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, to enquire about the well-being of former minister and senior Congress leader Vidya Stokes, who is recuperating from an illness. The CM wished her a speedy recovery. MLA Harish Janartha, Chief Minister’s Political Adviser Sunil Sharma, Chief Minister’s Principal Adviser (Media) Naresh Chauhan and Shimla Municipal Corporation Mayor Surinder Chauhan also accompanied the Chief Minister. Stokes was admitted to the hospital on February 11.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
