CM inaugurates Rs 113-cr projects in Dalhousie

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 113.45 crore in the Dalhousie Assembly constituency of Chamba district during a tour of the area.
He inaugurated the Bassa to Nadal road constructed at a cost of Rs 8.58 crore under the PMGSY, a link road from Samah to Hadila, stage-II built at a cost of Rs 2.86 crore under the PMGSY, a link road from Jawnas to Bhasua constructed at a cost of Rs 7.01 crore, a 30-metre span double-lane bridge over the Salandri nullah on the J&K border road constructed at a cost of Rs 3.62 crore, another 25-metre span bridge over the Gharat nullah constructed at a cost of Rs 2.85 crore, a 40-metre span bridge over the Rollah nullah built at a cost of Rs 4.07 crore, a helipad at Kundi (Salooni) constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore and the construction of an additional block for a level-III PHC building at Sundal to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore.
Thakur laid the foundation stone for the upgrade of the Bassa to Nadal road to be done at a cost of Rs 9.11 crore, Anni to Salooni road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.19 crore, Telka to Thaloga road (Rs 5.30 crore), Chakoli to Andwas road (Rs 9.64 crore), Chakoli to Dhalla road (Rs 8.06 crore), Jawans to Bhasua road, batch-II (Rs 5.88 crore), Government ITI building at Lachori in Salooni, Government Sub-Treasury building at Bhalei in Salooni and a 50-bed Civil Hospital at Salooni.
While addressing a public meeting at the Padhar Ground, Banikhet, the Chief Minister said that public works schemes worth Rs 140 crore were being implemented in
the constituency.
