Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who attended the event as chief guest, underlined the government’s commitment to fostering scientific temperament among youth. He took personal interest in the exhibits, interacting with student groups and asking them questions related to their models.
Sukhu was accompanied by local MLA Kamlesh Thakur, MLA Sanjay Ratan, besides others.
Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology and Environment (HIMCOSTE) joint member secretary Suresh Atri welcomed the dignitaries along with Ajay Sambyal, Sanjay Thakur and Manju Mahajan from the Department of Elementary Education.
The event culminated in a felicitation ceremony during which the Chief Minister awarded mementos to young achievers across various categories. In his address, Sukhu encouraged students to nurture their curiosity and pursue scientific temperament with logic, creativity and conviction.
