Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu released a book titled — Frauds in Files – A Compendium of Case Studies, authored by former IAS officer Arun Sharma, at his official residence here today.

The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to Sharma on the release of his new book and described it as a significant effort in highlighting ‘systemic loopholes’. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to ‘Vyavastha Parivartan’ and welcomed initiatives that help alleviate public hardships.

Sukhu said the government has undertaken various reforms to streamline the system, including amending and repealing outdated laws to enhance service delivery to the people of the state.

Sharma described the book as an “eye-opener” that brings to light an invisible parallel system unrestrained, fearless and unaccountable to anyone, which must be addressed.

MLAs Sanjay Awasthi and Suresh Kumar and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
