Congress legislators led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today sat on a dharna in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly complex in protest against the alleged insult of BR Ambedkar by BJP leaders.They raised slogans against the BJP for insulting Ambedkar.

Sukhu said that Shah’s remarks were unfortunate. “It is due to BR Ambedkar that India is a thriving democracy today. He was the architect of the Constitution, which laid the foundation of the Indian democratic system. While India is a thriving democracy, adjoining country Pakistan is suffering,” he added.
