Cong to hit Delhi streets over ‘vote chor’ claims
2,500 party workers will attend the December 14 rally, says HPCC president
State Congress president Vinay Kumar today said over 2,500 party workers, along with party leaders from the state, will participate in the ‘Vote chor, Gaddi chhod’ rally in New Delhi on December 14. The HPCC president held a detailed discussion with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu regarding the Delhi rally and the state government’s Jan Sankalp Sammelan to be held in Mandi on December 11.
Kumar said that he had urged all senior party leaders, former MPs, all MLAs, presidents and vice-presidents of boards and corporations and others to participate in both the programmes. The state party president said that the government would share its three-year achievements and future vision at the Jan Sankalp Sammelan in Mandi on December 11. Around 12,000 to 15,000 people are expected to attend the event.
Kumar also held a meeting with the party’s media, social media department and officials of the leading organisations at the party headquarters today to figure out how to make party’s publicity effective. Besides, he formed various committees to manage the party workers who would go to Delhi for the December 14 rally. HIMUDA vice-president Yashwant Chhajta has been made the coordinator of all these committees.
