The Una BJP SC-ST Morcha today held a meeting at party office ‘Deepkamal’ near the city, which was presided over by state party President of the morcha, Krishan Lal Chandel. The morcha discussed strategies for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Policies and programs initiated towards the welfare of SC and ST communities by the Narendra Modi government were discussed at the meeting and a resolution was passed to propagate these at the grassroots level, particularly among people of SC and ST communities.

Addressing morcha members at the meeting, Chandel said the Congress had always used SC and ST communities as vote bank rather than working for their development. He added that these communities were now distancing themselves from the Congress.
