Shimla, May 16
A Covid Care Centre is being set up at the Radha Soami Satsang building in the remote Dodra Kwar and three micro-containment zones have been made in Jaskon, Jakha and Pandhar after 60 of the 346 persons have tested positive for Covid.
“There are reports that villagers are not keen for testing and SDM, Rohru, BR Sharma, holding additional charge of SDM Dodra Kawar, will visit the place on Monday to take stock of the situation and motivate the locals for testing,” said Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, Aditya Negi, who visited Rohru.
Sampling was conducted in Pandhar and five of the 71 persons were positive. Till now, one person has died of Covid while 1,040 have been administered vaccine.
Ten oxygen cylinders have been provided, besides an ambulance for Dodra Kwar, and the SDO, PWD, has been made sector officer to mobilise resources and implement the guidelines.
