All statutory officers have been asked to ensure minimum staff strength to run the office from March 23 to 28. They will include officials who are residing in close proximity to their office or those who commute to work in their own vehicles. The statutory officers will allow the identified remaining staff to work from home. The staff coming on public transport has been exempted from attending their duties during this period. The officials, who are working from home or are on leave, will have to be available on telephone and other electronic means of communication at all times. They should have to attend office, if called for any urgent work.

The senior medical officer has been directed to install thermal scanners at Gate No. 1 along with trained staff. It has been made mandatory for all offices of the university to place hand sanitiser dispensers on the entry of all university buildings and gates. The employees having any flu-like symptoms have been advised to take proper treatment and have been exempted from attending office. All staff members have been directed to avoid non-essential official travel.
