Students of Dayanand Public School, Shimla, showcased their talents through various cultural performances at its annual function for LKG (Bal Vatika II) and Class II.

The event featured Saraswati Vandana, English and Hindi rhyme, English play, bhangra, English dance and the state’s Nati presented by the LKG students. The performances drew appreciation from an audience of students, staff members and parents.

Further, Class II students engaged the audience with colourful performances which included classical dance, Hindi play, English dance and play, umbrella dance and Punjabi dance. The main attraction of the function was a grand finale performance by students both the classes.

Anupam, principal of the school, presented the annual report, highlighting academic, co-curricular and extracurricular achievements. She also lauded the students for their performances. She urged the students and the staff to strive for greater heights in all ventures of the school.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Benu and Nikita, who acknowledged the efforts of the organising committee, volunteers and the participants.
