Organised by the District Football Association, Kangra, the tournament is dedicated to Major Durgamall and Captain Dal Bahadur.

In the final match played at the Police Ground, Customs, New Delhi, defeated Khalsa Club, Amritsar, by a goal. The winners and runners up were given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 each.

Ashish of the Customs was declared as the player of the tournament. In the league matches, Customs had defeated Khalsa Club by 1-0. This year a total of nine matches were played during the tournament among six top tier teams participating from across the country. The Army team didn’t participate in the tournament due to the Pahalgam massacre.
