Over the past three months, 342 financial literacy camps were held across Sirmaur. Verma directed banks to expand programmes into remote villages and organise safety camps in every panchayat. She stressed timely credit disbursal, banking access in sparsely populated areas and strict ATM security with 90-day CCTV backups. The DC also highlighted UCO RSETI’s free residential training programmes in beauty, tailoring, beekeeping, jute bags, food processing, dairy, vermicomposting and textile crafts.
