Una, may 26
Anup Kesari, former president of the Himachal AAP, told mediapersons here today that he had filed a criminal defamation case against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia at Una district courts.
Kesari, a lawyer at Una district courts, had resigned from AAP and joined the BJP. He is the state vice-president of the BJP. He said Sisodia had used a defamatory language against him at a press conference in Delhi some time ago. His counsel had issued a legal notice to Sisodia but there was no response to it. Hence, he filed a case in Una district courts.
Kesari said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Maan ignored the state AAP leadership during the road show in Mandi district, forcing him resign from the party.
He alleged that the derogatory language used by Sisodia had damaged his reputation in the eyes of people. He added that in the legal notice, Sisodia had been asked to tender a public apology, but he did not respond.
