The Department of Zoology at Wazir Ram Singh Government College, Dehri (Fatehpur Assembly constituency), celebrated National Wildlife Week (NWW) on Sunday as part of the nationwide observance from October 3 to 9.
The theme for this year, “Partnerships for Wildlife Conservation,” emphasises the interconnectedness of human and animal life and highlights the need to live in harmony with nature. It urges collective responsibility for protecting wildlife and preserving habitats for a sustainable future.
As part of the week-long celebration, the college is organising various student competitions, including oral presentations, poster-making, quizzes, photography and short-film performances on wildlife protection.
The activity featured an oral presentation competition. In the competition, Sameer, Niharika and Ayush secured the first, second and third positions, respectively.
