After accepting the invitation from the Mandi district administration and the Shivaratri Mela Committee, Deity Kamrunag departed from his original abode today to embark on his journey to Mandi. He will visit the Madho Rai Temple on February 25 in Mandi town and will reside at the Tarna Mata Temple for seven days to attend the weeklong Shivaratri festival.

A representative of Kamrunag deity, Kahan Singh Thakur, said the deity’s nine-day journey will begin with a ceremonial welcome in Charkha.
