Delegation visits Bharat Scouts and Guides HQs

A 30-member trainee delegation from the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management, under the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, visited the state headquarters of the Bharat Scouts and Guides in Shimla. The delegates were welcomed and briefed about the illustrious history and evolution of the scouting movement in India, with a special focus on Himachal Pradesh.

The officials shared how scouting in the state has grown into a vibrant movement that instills discipline, leadership, and a spirit of service among the youth. The movement has reached schools and communities across the state, promoting outdoor learning, patriotism and social responsibility.
