Traffic jams near Rohru bus stand

The road leading to the bus stand in Rohru often sees long traffic jams, causing inconvenience to people. The main reason for these avoidable snarls is the haphazard parking of vehicles on both sides of the road. The administration should take a note of the problem and penalise the offenders. — Ratan Tegta, Rohru

Not even one bus plies on Bhalku road

NOT even a single bus plies on the Bhalku road that runs from Mashobra to Bhekalti in Theog tehsil. This road caters to at least five gram panchayats, but there’s no bus runs on the road. A private bus started plying on this route, but it takes the highway now. People are forced to walk up to the highway that takes anywhere between 30 minutes and one hour. The authorities should consider plying a bus on the route as soon as possible. — Surinder Thakur, Banog
