Eating joints on the Sanwara-Dharampur stretch, authorised by the HRTC for the halt of buses going towards Chandigarh from Shimla and vice versa, are overcharging passengers. I took two paranthas with a cup of tea and was charged Rs80. When I enquired about the price, the person at the cash counter said a parantha cost Rs35. HRTC buses stop at places, which are far-off from the main town, and dhaba owners get a chance to fleece travellers. The authorities should take action against such dhaba owners. Tushar, Shimla
