Dharamsala, August 27

The CII-MCM Trust Multi-Skill Training Institute, Khaniyara, organised an IT seminar in Dharamsala today. The managing trustee of the institute, Vivek Mahajan, and his wife Anushree Mahajan, were also present during the seminar.

The keynote speakers, Amit Bashisht, Harmeet Singh and Aarive, detailed the participants on how to pursue their future in the IT sector and how to become interview-worthy for jobs in MNCs and any other sector. Students from various colleges and institutes participated in the seminar.

Vivek Mahajan said the main objective of the IT seminar was to enhance the skills of the students. A special one-year IT course was announced during the seminar, in which students will be prepared on how to prepare themselves according to the industry needs.

In the course, the students will be prepared on soft skill training, communication, IT and interview skills, and this year, only 50 children will be selected and trained. After training, the students were assured of 100 per cent placement in IT companies of Bangalore, Hyderabad and Gurgaon.

The course will start from September 15. As many as 50 students will be selected from among those who participated in the seminar. Only graduate and postgraduate students can apply for the course, added Mahajan.
