Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, while addressing students at the annual prize distribution ceremony at Government Senior Secondary School, Dhadole, in Bilaspur district on Wednesday, said the state government was spending over 20 per cent of its budget to improve the quality of education and infrastructure of schools and colleges in the state.
Investing in improving the standard of education would help in all-round development of students and ensure that students in the state get world-class education, he added.
Earlier, Dharmani attended the annual function of RR Public School, Padyalag, in the Ghumarwin constituency and awarded prizes to the students for their achievements in various fields including academics, sports, art and culture.
He said teachers and parents should identify the potential and talent of students and guide them in the direction of their interest.
Manoj Gautam, the school’s managing director, talked about the achievements of the school, while students showcased a cultural programme. Dharmani said a job fair was going to be organised at Auhar village near the HPTDC centre.
A number of corporate companies would provide jobs to eligible people, he added.
Pharma Force Labs, Medi Force Healthcare, Shri Om Organics, Manjushree, Jupiters, Zepto, Om Logistics, New Swarn Technologies, Holiday Inn, Sanox, Sara Textiles, Newmax Skills, Akal Enterprises and Ariel Telecom would be among the participating companies, he said. He exhorted those eligible to participate in the walk-in interviews.
