Spearheaded by local youth and supported by engineer and station spokesperson Ashish Thakur, the initiative aims to bring the spiritual essence of these shrines to devotees across India and abroad.

Thakur shared that the radio station will also feature devotional programmes, helping listeners stay connected with their faith from home. He credited former Union Minister and MP Anurag Thakur for his support in establishing the station and acknowledged the key contribution of Kuldeep Singh Dhatwalia, retired Director General of the Press Information Bureau.

More than a devotional outlet, Dhatwal Ki Awaaz also seeks to preserve and promote the region’s rich folk traditions, cultural identity, and social values.
