Directorate of Recruitment set up, govt issues notification
The state government has issued a notification to establish the Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Recruitment in Shimla.
An official spokesperson said this had been done to carry out specific functions of the nodal department to expedite direct recruitment to the posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) and other Group-c vacancies, as assigned from time to time, in all departments. The directorate would address the needs of the state government so as to provide employment opportunities to the youth, he added.
He said that the Directorate of Recruitment would function as a department under the administrative control of the Department of Personnel on the premises of the Himachal Secretariat in Shimla.
If any question arises as to the interpretation of the provisions of the notification, the Department of Personnel shall decide the same and the decision so taken shall be final.
