The programme will begin with the chief guest paying floral tributes at the Shaheed Smarak in Indira Market, followed by a garlanding ceremony at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. The celebrations will then move to Seri Manch, where the chief guest will hoist the national flag, inspect the march past, and take the salute.

The march past will feature participation from the police, home guards, NCC cadets, and students from local schools. The event will also include cultural performances by school children and other groups, highlighting social messages. Outstanding individuals will be honoured for their contributions during the ceremony.

Deputy Commissioner Devgan directed all departments to finalise preparations well in advance. He instructed the police to manage the march past rehearsals and ensure smooth execution. The Information and Public Relations Department, in collaboration with the Department of Language, Art, and Culture, was tasked with organising cultural performances that blend entertainment with social awareness.

The MC has been asked to ensure cleanliness in and around Seri Manch, Gandhi Chowk, and throughout the city. Additionally, arrangements for decorations, uninterrupted power supply, and seating must be in place at all event venues.
