The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) organised an awareness camp at the District Judicial Complex under the chairmanship of District and Sessions Judge Jaswant Singh Thakur.
Judge Thakur emphasised the significant contributions of women across all fields. He provided detailed information on various legal provisions, including the Domestic Violence Act, the Right to Information Act (2005), fundamental rights, the Women’s Helpline number and other rights and duties relevant to women.
The District Bar Association president, Madan Rawat, and senior advocate Kiran Singh informed the attendees about free legal services provided by the DLSA.
