Dr Vivek Vanyal is Nurpur Civil Hospital Medical Superintendent
Recently promoted by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Dr Vivek Vanyal took over the charge as Medical Superintendent (MS) of the 200-bed Nurpur Civil Hospital.
Previously, he was working as an orthopaedic surgeon at the Dr Radha Krishna Medical College, Hamirpur. After taking charge of the hospital, the MS convened a meeting with hospital’s staff and took stock of the functioning of the hospital.
Later, talking to the mediapersons, the MS said he would ensure that patients visiting the Nurpur hospital get hassle-free quality medical facilities.
Efforts would also be made to make Nurpur’s civil hospital one of the important hospitals in Kangra district and an ideal health institution, he added.
He reiterated that all government-sponsored healthcare schemes would be implemented in the hospital effectively. He assured transparency in the hospital’s functioning.
Dr Vanyal said he would lay emphasis on ensuring better coordination among the doctors so that patients get better services, and a congenial environment could be established at the institution.
