He added that in view of future challenges, the state government was working towards improving the quality of education to provide world-class opportunities to students.

“The state government has taken many such decisions last year, which have led to improvement in the quality of education,” he claimed.

The Education Minister also laid the foundation stone of the building of Primary Health Centre to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.78 crore in the Tharola gram panchayat.

Thakur said the construction of the building would help in providing better health services to people of the area at their doorstep.

Taking a pot shot at the BJP, Thakur said that the previous BJP government could not do anything for developing the area. “It did not provide any kind of relief to the state during the monsoon disaster but is trying to destabilise the government,” he said.
