The students of Class II to V staged an impressive play based on renowned British author Roald Dahl’s famous story ‘Matilda’, leaving the audience spellbound. Besides, the students presented various dance and group songs, adding colour to the event. The programme concluded with a high-energy grand finale group dance.

The minister, while addressing the students, said, “Education is the light that removes ignorance and sharpens insight. It is the key that unlocks limitless possibilities. Through education, young minds are groomed to question wisely, solve challenges courageously and dream without boundaries. An idea adopted today can become path-breaking innovation of tomorrow.”

He said, “Learning is not confined only to textbooks and co-curricular activities such as stage performance, sports, art and music are spaces where passion meets purpose. These activities develop resilience, encourage teamwork and bring forth the unique spark within each student. This performance is a living example of that spirit. Every line memorised, every step practised and every prop placed with care reflects the discipline, imagination and courage of the students to perform in front of the audience.”

The minister also encouraged the students to study with purpose, play with joy and move forward with dignity. “Let curiosity be your compass and kindness be your strength,” he said. “Every effort made by you lays the foundation of a well-rounded life, whether it is mastering a concept or refining a character on stage,” he added.

School principal Ritu Sharma briefed the chief guest about the school’s activities and also delivered a vote of thanks.
