Ensure vaccination of students: SFI

The SFI has demanded that the government should ensure free vaccination of students at their educational institutes. Stating that education had suffered during the pandemic, the SFI said this move would help restart all institutions at the earliest. The students’ body further demanded that as the cases were coming down, the HPU should be opened for all students.

Webinar on ‘Science behind yoga’

Shoolini University organised a webinar on ‘Science behind yoga’, in which Dr Mantu Saha, head, exercise physiology and yoga laboratory, Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS), DRDO, was the keynote speaker. Saha explained the role of DRDO research in yoga. Representatives of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, Uttrakhand, explained the concept of artificial intelligence and the laws of happiness. Shrinivas Murthy, founder, Yog Bharti, spoke about the significance of yoga.

SFI, ABVP blame each other

The SFI and the ABVP blamed each other for the recent clash between their activists at HPU. While the SFI alleged the RSS workers and HPU Vice-Chancellor were responsible for the clash, the ABVP claimed the SFI was a habitual offender.
