Starting one’s own enterprise is far better than searching for jobs, as it enhances business and leadership qualities, stated Ajay Kumar Katna, Director of the Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI). He was addressing trainees of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Bani town near Hamirpur on Tuesday, at the conclusion of an awareness programme.
He said running one’s own enterprise or business was more beneficial than taking up salaried employment. He added that by setting up a business, individuals not only create self-employment but can also provide jobs to others.
“Once established, a business secures the future of the coming generations,” he said. He encouraged the youth to avail themselves of various bank loa Katna stated that awareness and training programmes are regularly organised through RSETI to motivate, encourage and train the general public for self-employment. He also briefed the trainees on schemes such as the Mudra Yojana, Vishwakarma Yojana, Internship Schemes, Health Insurance Scheme, Jeevan Jyoti Insurance Scheme and other initiatives, as well as the benefits of digital banking. Rajesh Sharma, Principal of the ITI, GC Bhatti, Financial Literacy Advisor with Punjab National Bank and other officials were also present on the occasion.
