The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) regional office in Shimla is set to organise its monthly ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ awareness and outreach programme in the state on November 27 to apprise local residents of fraud prevention and passbook verification.

The campaign aims at educating the stakeholders on issues related to fraud prevention, vigilance awareness and checking of EPF passbooks. It will also provide on-the-spot resolution of PF-related grievances of both employers and employees. One of the major service components will be the defreezing of UAN accounts, ensuring ease of access for members. The programme will be conducted simultaneously in all districts for which nodal officers have been appointed.
