Event on drug addiction, unemployment organised
AICC secretary and spokesperson Alok Sharma today slammed the Centre for not addressing the burning issues of rising unemployment and drug addiction in the country. He was speaking at the programme organised by Indian Youth Congress (IYC) here today.
The IYC is running a programme ‘Young India ke Bol’ focusing on unemployment and drug addiction in the country. Verma said that the Youth Congress was organising the programme to make the youths aware and help them stay away from drug addiction. In this programme, 11 youths from various districts of the state participated in the event.
Shobhit Gautam stood first, while Rajat Bhardwaj bagged the second spot. Apart from Alok Sharma, AICC spokesperson, Uma Shankar Pandey, Indian Youth Congress General Secretary and Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress in-charge Vineet Kamboj, Indian Youth Congress Secretary and Himachal Pradesh Youth Congress co-in-charge Yogesh Handa, state Youth Congress president Chhatar Singh Thakur were also present.
