The District Election Officer and Shimla Deputy Commissioner, Anupam Kashyap, along with officials and representatives of various political parties, has inspected the electronic voting machine (EVM) warehouse at Fagu.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner said as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India (ECI), the EVM warehouse had to be opened every quarter for inspection. He said everything was found in order during the inspection.

During which police guard, duty register, fire extinguishers, closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, power system and other things are checked for the security of EVMs.
