Capt Verma said that the soldier suffered irreparable loss but he continued to maintain composure and was gradually coming back to terms from the severe shock.

Capt Verma said, “The condition of roads in and around Barthi is worst. The administration and the Public Works Department should pay attention towards their maintenance. Vulnerable points on the roads should be identified and strict measures should be taken to check such accidents again.”
