An ex-serviceman rally was organised by 2 JAK LI (SHERWANI) under the aegis of Headquarters, 95 Infantry Brigade, at Military Station, Solan, today for ex-serviceman, Veer Naris and war widows from the district.

The rally witnessed huge response from the ex-servicemen. Brigadier Kunal Bakshi, Commander, 95 Infantry Brigade, graced the occasion. The primary aim of the programme was to reach out to the ex-serviceman, Veer Naris, Veer Matas and war widows of armed forces and resolve their grievances related to service and civil administration.

A number of counters, including stalls from the record offices to resolve pension anomalies and counters pertaining to ECHS, Zila Sainik Board and resettlement, were set up to extend facilities to the ex-servicemen. Addressing the ex-servicemen, the Commander, Headquarters, 95 Infantry Brigade, spoke about various facilities being extended to veterans by the Indian Army as well as the Central and State governments.
