Chamba, February 20

The local Youth Congress has criticised the slow pace of construction work on the Parel bridge across the Ravi which connects the 154A national highway with Sidhpura, Haripur and Sarol areas.

Youth Congress leader Kapil Bhushan in a press note said the bridge had collapsed some years ago and the work was undertaken to construct a new bridge in its place.

He demanded speeding up the construction work on the bridge so that it could be completed as early as possible for the convenience of people residing along both sides of the Ravi.
