Vivek Bhatia, Deputy Commissioner, Chamba, has directed officials of the national highway to complete the tarring of the portion from Baloo to Tatwani of the Pathankot-Chamba-Bharmour national highway before June 15. Baloo is the entry point of Chamba town.

Bhatia urged the officials to carry out tarring work of road beneath the heliport at Sultanpur, so that it could be opened for vehicular movement as one-way system of traffic at the earliest, thereby easing the congestion of traffic.

Bhatia asked NH officials to speed up the work of tarring from Chamba to Bharmour portion and achieve the target within the timeline. He also emphasised to take care of the quality of tarring.
