Fire breaks out at tent house

A fire broke out today at Anjali tent house store located in Industrial Area, Saulikhad Mandi, causing significant damage.

According to initial reports, the fire might have been caused by a short circuit. Firefighters rushed to the site, and after intense efforts, were able to bring the fire under control.

Mandi Municipal Corporation councillor Rajender Mohan confirmed that the estimated loss could be in lakhs. No casualties or injuries have been reported in this fire incident.

“The local authorities are investigating the cause of the short circuit and are working to ensure that proper safety measures are implemented in the area to prevent such incidents. The fire has caused considerable distress to the business, but the prompt action of the fire services has mitigated the damage to some extent,” he added.
