“The students found guilty of beating up their juniors have been suspended from the school for 15 days. As the matter was resolved to the satisfaction of everyone concerned at the school, no FIR has been lodged,” said Theog SDM Mukesh Sharma.

While the reason behind the assault was not clear, some parents claimed that the incident took place after the juniors refused to wash the clothes of the senior students.

Following the incident, the local administration held a meeting between the parents concerned and the matter was resolved. To send out a strong message to the students to refrain from such behaviour in future, the guilty students were suspended.
