The sudden deluge washed away a crucial link road connecting the Gadfari and Thalli panchayats, completely isolating both villages. The Chamba–Tissa road, a key route in the area, has also been rendered impassable, stranding several Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) and private buses as well as smaller vehicles.

No casualties have been reported, as there was no traffic on the washed-away portion of the road at the time of the cloudburst. Tissa Tehsildar Ashish Thakur confirmed the incident and said the flashflood in Pangola Nullah has washed away the road. While no loss of life or property has been reported so far, authorities are assessing the full extent of the damage. He some agricultural land has also been reported to have washed away.
