According to the Met office, higher reaches in Lahaul and Spiti, Kinnaur, Kullu, Kangra and Chamba are likely to witness light snowfall at isolated locations, while light rain is expected across the remaining regions. The system is also expected to trigger a sharp dip in temperatures, with minimums likely to fall by 2°C to 5°C and maximums by 3°C to 6°C, leading to cold wave-like conditions in many areas.
