Shimla: A fugitive from Gujarat has been arrested by the Himachal Police at Fagu, 19 km from here. The police had, on August 3, received information that one Avinash, alias Golu, a resident of Gorakhpur (UP), was wanted in a case registered in Valsad police station under Sections 363, 366 and 376 of IPC and Sections 4 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act and was suspected to be in Fagu. Theog DSP Siddharth Sharma said the accused was handed over to a team of the Gujarat Police. TNS
